Glow Worm Hunting

Here in the heart of rural Georgia, Hawkinsville is home to an earthworm with quite a strange ability- it secrets blue slime that glows in the dark. While exploring our beautiful town, take a trip down to Mile Branch Park and  catch your own glow worm. You can do this through a process called grunting: staking a hammer into the soil and making it vibrate. The worms will then surface for collection, and you’ll have one of the rarest souvenirs around!
